Quality Assurance

Testing That Tells You Something Useful

The point of QA isn't a coverage percentage. It's confidence that the flows which lose money when they break still work — and finding out within minutes of a change, not weeks.

01

What we cover

Test strategy

Deciding what to automate, what to explore manually, and what genuinely isn't worth testing.

Automation frameworks

Maintainable end-to-end and integration suites that don't become flaky and ignored.

Regression suites

The critical paths, run on every pull request, blocking merge when they fail.

Performance testing

Load and stress profiles based on realistic traffic, run before launch.

Accessibility testing

Automated checks plus keyboard and screen-reader passes against WCAG 2.2 AA.

Cross-device coverage

Real browsers, OS versions and devices — not just the developer's laptop.

Accessibility is now a legal exposure

The European Accessibility Act deadline passed on 28 June 2025, with penalties in some member states reaching €100,000 or a percentage of turnover. Services contracted before that date have until June 2027, and legacy services until June 2030 — so this is a live remediation window rather than a past one.

04

An honest caveat

A hundred per cent coverage is a vanity target, and a flaky suite is worse than no suite — teams learn to re-run red builds and merge anyway, then miss the real failure. We would rather ship fifty reliable tests on the paths that lose money than eight hundred nobody trusts. If requirements are still changing weekly, we test the API layer and leave the UI until it settles.
