Models That Make a Decision Better

Classical machine learning is still where most measurable value sits: forecasting demand, scoring risk, ranking what matters, spotting the anomaly a person would miss. It's less fashionable than generative AI and considerably easier to prove.

01

What we build

Forecasting

Demand, capacity, churn and revenue models built on your history and seasonality.

Recommendation

Personalisation and ranking that adapts to behaviour rather than fixed rules.

Anomaly detection

Fraud, fault and outlier detection on transactions, telemetry or logs.

Classification & scoring

Risk, priority and eligibility models with explainability where decisions affect people.

Computer vision

Detection, inspection and OCR for documents, images and video streams.

MLOps

Versioned data and models, automated retraining, drift monitoring and rollback.

02

How we work

Start with a baseline — often a simple heuristic — so improvement is measurableEstablish an evaluation set before any modelling beginsPrefer interpretable models where a decision must be explainedMonitor for drift, because a model that was right last year may not be nowPlan the fallback for when the model is unavailable or unsure
03

An honest caveat

Machine learning needs data with signal in it. If the historical data is thin, inconsistent or doesn't record the outcome you want to predict, the first project is a data project — not a modelling one. We'd rather establish that in a two-week assessment than six months into a build.
